Q: What's the cost?

A: Obviously this is pretty important. It's hard to give an estimate without knowing what you have in mind. Every wedding is different!

 

Q: What services do you offer? 

A: I can provide anything from referral consultation to full-service, planning every little detail from proposal to honeymoon.

 

Q: Do you provide both design and coordination? 

A: Yes! 

 

Q: How many weddings will you be working on at the same time?

A: It's hard to say, depending on what each couple is looking for. Don't worry though...I will never be too busy for you.

 

Q: Do you handle professional services, contracts and payments?

A: Whatever makes it easier for you. Whether you'd rather pay vendors yourself or have me take care of all the payments - both work for me.

 

Q: Are you willing to step in as our advocate, conveying our visions and desires to pros when we can't?

A: I will always be on your side. I know parents can be especially tough to say no to. You can Count on Kristi to be your voice.

 

Q: Will you handle the invitations, from wording and ordering to the addressing and mailing? What about the guest list coordination and RSVP's? 

A: I'll not only create and send your invites, I'll also manage your RSVP's and assist with the seating arrangements!

 

Q: Do you do destination weddings? 

A: I can plan your perfect getaway wedding. Although I may not be able to attend the ceremony, I'll make sure every detail from location to hotel and flight reservations are taken care of.

 

Q: Do you handle rentals? Will you coordinate delivery, arrival and set up times with the photographer, florist, musicians/DJ, and the caterer?

A: Of course! 

 

Q: How many meetings will we have? How often will we communicate, by phone and email? What's the best way to get in touch with you?

A: We will meet at least 5 times, more if meeting to select the venue. I won't set up any additional meetings unless necessary. I will always be available to communicate and text is generally the best way though chatting over the phone works too.

 

Q: Can you create a timeline that tells everyone involved in the planning process--other pros, members of the wedding party, to-be-weds and families--what to do and when to do it? How will you make sure everyone sticks to the schedule?

A: I will most definitely put together schedules and timelines. This is one of the most important steps in planning a wedding. And having people stick to there schedules isn't as hard as you may think. They want your wedding to be as special as you want it to be, so generally they make every effort to be where they're supposed to be when they're supposed to be there. Though, I will get them back on track if need be.

 

Q: How will you help me stay within my budget?

A: We can work together to find an affordable venue, caterer, dress, reception, etc.. We can come up with some creative DIY's that I can work on for you to help save you money. 

 

Q: Do you carry personal liability and professional indemnity insurance?

A: Yes, I and you will be covered. In the event someone would trip over the DJ cord or the materials to lay down the dance floor causes damages to the venue, you'll be covered.

 

Q: How do payments work?

A: I will cover all of this in the agreement, though generally I ask for a deposit when the agreement is signed and then two additional payments made prior to the big day. However, depending on what you're looking for and budget restraints I may be able work something else out with you. Additional payments will be required throughout the planning process if I'm making payments to the vendors on your behalf.​
